Sporting paradise

With around 1800 hours of sunshine a year, the Palatinate is perfect for long hikes like no other region. Whether leisurely walks through the neighbouring vineyards and across flowering meadows or demanding tours through the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve - the largest contiguous forest area in Germany. And while the eye can hardly see enough, rustic huts, wine taverns and vineyards are already waiting for you to stop for a bite to eat with hearty delicacies.

18 hole golf course – 1000 enchanting views: Picturesquely embedded between vines and fruit trees and "guarded" by the castles "Battenberg", "Neuleiningen" and the "Bismarck Tower", the German Wine Route golf course awaits 3.5 kilometres away.

More than 2000 fruit trees line the golf courses named after grape varieties: 226 apple and 52 pear varieties, plums, berries and wild fruit. Admittedly, it is a little difficult to concentrate, given the beautiful landscape surrounding this golf course ...
